    Description

The Exorcist (Warner Brothers, 1973). Advance Promotional Poster (22.25" X 31.25") Advance, Dan Perri Artwork. From the collection of David Frangioni, author of Clint Eastwood: ICON & Crash: The World's Greatest Drum Kits.
William Peter Blatty's riveting novel, based on the last known Catholic-sanctioned exorcism in the United States, was brought to the screen by director William Friedkin. Starring in the film was 14-year-old Linda Blair, as the demon-possessed girl who suffers numerous satanic horrors during the ordeal. The film was one of the most terrifying movies ever made and continues to haunt audiences when shown. This was a special advance promotional poster made for the film, is extremely rare and features a statue of the demon Pazuzu facing off against his antagonist, Father Merrin (Max von Sydow). The poster has slight edge wear, mild creasing, and small surface scuffs. Rolled, Very Fine-.
