Son of Dracula (Universal, 1943). One Sheet (27" X 41").
In very nice condition and with eye-catching color, the one sheet offered here features Lon Chaney Jr,. starring as the mysterious Count Alucard, a Budapest nobleman. The Count moves to the American South and takes a bride, a lovely student of the occult, Katherine (Louise Allbritton). When friends notice that Katherine is acting strangely, they discover to their horror that Alucard is actually the son of the infamous vampire, Count Dracula. The third installment in Universal's Dracula franchise, this is the first film to show the vampire transforming into a bat. Airbrushing to the borders and touchup to the folds has addressed small paper loss, unobtrusive tears, pinholes, and normal wear. This is a lovely copy of a poster from Universal's Golden Age of horror. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
