Revenge of the Creature (Universal International, 1955). Six Sheet (78" X 81").Jack Arnold directs this first sequel to his own The Creature From the Black Lagoon with his usual verve. In this installment, the Gill Man is taken back to civilization, where he can mangle and maul even more people than before. This spectacular six sheet created by Reynold Brown is most similar in design and layout to the window card, and is one of the toughest posters to find on this title. Professional airbrushing was applied to the borders to address a bottom right tear/chip, and small chips in the right and bottom border. Touchup was applied to a long tear in the top border that extends in the "R" and one that extends into Gill Man's face, a crossfold chip, and a bit of vertical creasing. No "Creature" fan should be without this rare and monstrous masterpiece! Fine on Linen.
