    Description

House of Dracula (Realart, R-1950). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Realart hit the jackpot when it re-released this classic horror chiller in 1950, which was a sequel to Universal Horror's 1944 classic House of Frankenstein. It performed better than almost all of the first run films that opened that month, audiences clearly enamored with the best troupe of "monsters" in film history. Even Realart's reissue version of the one sheet is a winner, warning that "The Devil's Own Brood" -- Dracula (John Carradine), Wolf Man (Lon Chaney Jr.), Frankenstein's monster (Glenn Strange), Hunchback (Jane Adams) and mad doctor (Onslow Stevens) are on the loose. Even better, they are all creepily displayed on this color- rich one sheet. The linen has been trimmed to the edge of the poster and professional restoration has addressed pinholes in the corners and borders, and a tear and small chips in bottom border. Display-ready and in demand! Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
