Future-Kill by H.R. Giger (International Film Marketing, 1984). Very Fine/Near Mint. Signed Original Concept Poster Artwork in Airbrush on Paper (20" X 27.5").
Created by the same artist behind the unsettling aesthetics of the Alien franchise, this one-of-a-kind piece of artwork by the immensely talented H.R. Giger is making its debut appearance at Heritage. It was the basis for an alternate style one sheet and the limited edition red lithograph posters released for the film and came to the consignor directly from the film's star, Edwin Neal. A mix of horror and comedy in an '80s punk dystopia, much of audience's interest in the movie was a direct result of Giger's artwork, serving as the most effective advertisement for the low-budget production. This picture reunited two of the stars from the cult horror classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Neal and Marilyn Burns. The artwork showcases eye-catching colors with the late and great Giger's signature grim style and has almost nothing in the way of actual wear. There are a couple of rough edges and pinholes in the corners, but these are due to the production process and not from usage. Any collector would be lucky to own such a great piece from one of the most famed sci-fi artists of the 1980s!
