    Description

    Dracula (Universal, 1931). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
A horror film like no other, Bela Lugosi brought Bram Stoker's vicious vampire to life, as it were, on the silver screen with a chilling performance that has continued to define the character eighty-five years after it first terrified millions of audience members worldwide. Endlessly referenced, parodied, and emulated since the film's first release, Tod Browning's masterpiece is a legendary piece of Hollywood's history that has paved the way for an infinite number of horror films and franchises to come. A beyond exciting opportunity for collectors, Heritage has only had the pleasure to present this rare card once before over a decade ago, making this chance hard to pass up. Unique among the set, this card features all five major characters, with an apprehensive scene of Van Helsing and the Harkers above, and a glimpse of the malevolent count and mad servant Renfield below. Not only does this scarce lobby have an exceptional image, but the card itself is in great shape, with one pinhole in the left and right borders each, a very small tear in the top border, a faint corner bend in the upper left, and light dust shadows in the borders. From the Collection of Lynn Naron. Very Fine+.
