    Description

    Dracula (1928). Very Fine+. Theater Herald (Folded: 5.5" X 8.5" & Unfolded: 11.25" X 8.5").
Bram Stoker's famous novel was initially brought to the British stage by writer, Hamilton Dean and made its Broadway debut in 1927 to rave reviews. Starring in his first major English-speaking role, Bela Lugosi enthralled audiences with his sophisticated and menacing interpretation of the Count, a performance that would serve him well two years later when auditioning for the role in Tod Browning's seminal film. Hailing from Brandt's Carlton in Jamaica, NY, this stage play herald from the production's national tour features the same iconic artwork from the original Broadway show. The herald has only light signs of handling like slight edge wear, a couple of very minor tears, and a few thin surface scuffs.
