    Description

Dementia (Jack Harris, R-1957). One Sheet (27" X 41") AKA Daughter of Horror. Horror.
This is one of the more interesting cult film items you'll run into, and a seldom seen poster. The film was made in 1953, but when it was first shown, filled with highly suggestive violence and some edgy psycho-sexual imagery, in 1955 made it barely very difficult to distribute.. It was used in The Blob as the film on the screen in the theatre when the Blob attacks, and became a hit trivia item. The film was banned in New York for several years, and was re-issued by Jack Harris in 1957 with this retitle, making the cuts demanded by the New York censors, and adding some funky narration by an uncredited Ed McMahon of Johnny Carson Show fame. This could become one of the best pieces in your cult film collection! Starring Adrienne Barrett, Bruno VeSota, Ben Roseman, Richard Barron, Ed Hinkle, Lucille Rowland, Shorty Rogers. Directed by John Parker and Bruno VeSota. An unrestored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have edge wear, small tear in the top vertical fold line, mild extra vertical crease, and very mild surface creases and crinkles. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
