Description

Suspicion (RKO, 1941). Argentinean One Sheet (28.75" X 43.5").
Joan Fontaine's Oscar winning decent into fear and paranoia (in one of director Alfred Hitchcock's best works) is echoed here in the moody, moonlit artwork of this one sheet. Under Hitchcock's firm, but subtle hand, Cary Grant also gives one of the best performances of his career. Fontaine and Grant are magnificent on this rare Argentinean one sheet, a first time offer from Heritage. Professional linenbacking and expert restoration has addressed pinholes in the borders, fold wear, cross fold separation, paper loss at the center horizontal fold, and chips in the left and bottom border. A small crease can still be detected in the upper right. Fine+ on Linen.
