    Description

Foreign Correspondent (United Artists, 1940). One Sheet (27.5" X 41.5").
Fourteen scriptwriters spent five years toiling over a movie adaptation of war correspondent Vincent Sheehan's Personal History before producer Walter Wanger brought the property to the screen. What resulted was very little of Sheehan and a lot of Alfred Hitchcock. This thriller tells the story of an American reporter who becomes involved in espionage in England during the onset of World War II, costarring Joel McCrea, George Sanders, Laraine Day, Herbert Marshall, Albert Bassermann, and Robert Benchley. There were pinholes in the corners with some into the background, a small chip in the upper border, and a small tear in the left border. Touchup has been applied to the folds. The linen is trimmed up to the border, but not into the poster. Very Fine on Linen.
