    Description

    Dial M for Murder (Warner Brothers, 1954). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Although Grace Kelly had appeared in numerous television programs and supporting roles in a couple of movies, it wasn't until she was "discovered" by Alfred Hitchcock that she became a major star. Of the three films she made for the Master of Suspense, this was considered her best role-- that of a wealthy wife of a retired tennis pro. When the husband finds out his wife has had an affair, he plots to have her murdered. Hitchcock knew the part called for a woman who could radiate charm, elegance and sophistication and Grace Kelly embodied all of these attributes like no other. Featuring a powerful image from one of the film's most climatic scenes, this one sheet shows pinholes in the borders and image, a slight misfold at the vertical fold, and some wear with light foxing in the upper edge. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.

HA is a traditional auction house, they set up their auctions slightly different from typical domain auctions. This works well, it seems to be a good mix of old age (live bidding in a prestigious hotel) and new age (online bidding).
