DescriptionGun Crazy (United Artists, 1949). Very Fine+ on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
One of the most popular classics of the noir genre, this is the romantic story of a boy and a girl...and the guns that bring them together. A great hard-edged crime drama with existential themes, this picture seamlessly blends action and philosophy together into an impactful, thought-provoking narrative. Always in demand among collectors, this one sheet offers incredible imagery that influenced poster art for the next decade, ranking in Premiere Magazine's list of "The Top 25 Movie Posters Ever." Very few indications of use could be found on this poster even prior to backing, and it now displays wonderfully after touchup to the folds and a few pinholes.
Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
