Photoplay & Other Lot (Various, 1941-1942). Fine+. Magazines (3) & Identical Magazines (2) (Multiple Pages, 8.5" X 11.25"). Miscellaneous.
Offered in this lot are the April 1941 and October 1941 issues of Photoplay (MacFadden Pub., 1941), 2 June 1941 issues of Photoplay, and the May 1942 issue of Love Confessions (Real Story Inc., 1942). Featured on the covers are photos of Hedy Lamarr, Deanna Durbin, Irene Dunne, and Gypsy Rose Lee. Inside the magazines are articles, ads and photos featuring stars and films, such as Ziegfeld Girl, Ida Lupino, Bette Davis, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Olivia de Havilland, Strawberry Blonde, Paulette Goddard, and many more. Unrestored magazines with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. They may have edge and spine wear, slight spine separations, small tears, minor toning, mild paper loss, some surface scuffs, or smudges and stains. There is graphite and ink writing on the April 1941 Photoplay and the 1942 Love Confessions.
