Marilyn Monroe Photoplay & Other Lot (Macfadden, 1953) Fine/Very Fine. Magazines (3) (Multiple Pages, 8.5" X 11"). Miscellaneous. Include in this lot is the December 1953 issue of Photoplay, the August 1956 issue of Screen Stories (Dell, 1956), and the March 1954 issue of Modern Screen (Dell, 1954), all featuring the ever-gorgeous Marilyn Monroe and her beautiful smile on their front covers. These fan magazines featured articles, pictorals, and interviews with film and television stars including Doris Day, Gene Kelly, Rory Calhoun, Esther Williams, Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, and more. Unrestored magazines that display signs of use. May include light edge and spine wear, creases, small tears, stains, or slight spine separation. The magazine for Screen Stories has rippling and the covers are nearly detached from the spine. There is a small piece of cellophane tape on the inside cover of Modern Screen, bracing a small tear. Fine/Very Fine.
