Yojimbo (Toho, 1961). Japanese B2 (20.25" X 28.75").
A masterless samurai, played by Toshiro Mifune, uses the rivalry of two competing crime lords to his favor in this classic film by legendary director, Akira Kurosawa. In the poster, a samurai battle can be seen taking place on top, as an intense looking Mifune brings his blade down toward the viewer. An exciting poster for an equally exciting film, Yojimbo was later remade by Sergio Leone as A Fistful of Dollars, and Walter Hill as Last Man Standing. This country-of-origin poster shows only toning along the borders and the bottom crease, and small chips in the right and left border. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
