Woman of the River (Columbia, 1957). French Double Grande (63" X 92") Jean Mascii Artwork.
Three years before her Hollywood debut in Boy on a Dolphin, Sophia Loren starred in Mario Soldati's tale of a poor cane cutter who wavers between the love of a sympathetic police officer and the smuggler who ends up abandoning her. There is fold wear, crossfold separations, and tears on the fold lines with paper loss. The poster is in two sections as originally printed. Wonderful artwork by Jean Mascii. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
