This excellent poster for Cosmonautics Day honors the first man in outer space, Yuri Gagarin, and the Soviet space program. Now recognized by the United Nations as the International Day of Human Space Flight, the 12th of April has long been a source of pride for Russia. Featuring a wonderful illustration of Gagarin, artist M. Lukyanov's piece declares "Peace on Earth and in Space." An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance.
