The Dark Corner (20th Century Fox, 1946). Six Sheet (81" X 81").
Lucille Ball, known for her prowess in comedy, tosses that aside and delivers some true acting chops in this dark and moody film noir. As the secretary of a private detective being framed for murder, it's up to her and her detective boss Mark Stevens to find the real killer. The cast includes fellow noir alumni William Bendix and Clifton Webb and was directed by the hard-boiled Henry Hathaway. This poster is the perfect companion to the film itself as it is layered in shadows and ever deepening blacks. The poster has several crossfold tears and some very minor chipping and paper loss at a few of the center points. There are also some pinholes in the corners, but otherwise the poster is quite nice. This poster, like the film itself, is not to be missed. Fine+.
