    The Asphalt Jungle (MGM, 1950). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").
    John Huston's tough and gritty film noir featured an entire cast of unsavory characters, including Sterling Hayden as the hooligan (a strong arm enforcer), Sam Jaffe as the mastermind who's schemed the caper the entire time he was in prison, James Whitmore as the fence, and Louis Calhern as the crooked and desperate attorney who needs a big score to finance his dalliance on the side. That dalliance turned out to be Marilyn Monroe and her brief screen-time would translate into stardom. She appears on the title card and lobby #6. Both of those cards have pinholes in the corners. All of the cards show some slight wear to the edges, light smudging and a few others have pinholes in the corners as well. Very Fine-.
