Nobody pushes the great Johnny Rocco (Edward G. Robinson) around, that is, until he meets up with reluctant hero and war veteran Frank McCloud, played to perfection by Humphrey Bogart. One of the greatest films Robinson and Bogart made together, tensions slowly build through the claustrophobia, heat, and humidity of an old hotel in the Florida Keys, as everyone waits for an impending hurricane. This is the fourth film Lauren Bacall made with Bogart and the all-star cast is rounded out with Lionel Barrymore and Claire Trevor, who won an Academy Award for her role as Rocco's desperate ex-girlfriend, Gaye Dawn. This popular half sheet shows handling with edge wear, creasing, small tears, and minor border chips. There are some stains in the lower right background, and the poster has a vertical tear in the right border. There is strip of cellophane tape and some small pieces of paper tape on the verso. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
