Description
Double Indemnity (Paramount, 1944). Very Fine. Lobby Cards (3) (11" X 14").In one of the greatest films to emerge from the noir era, director Billy Wilder cast Fred MacMurray as a love-struck insurance salesman, Barbara Stanwyck as the conniving wife of a husband she wants dead, and Edward G. Robinson as the investigator who discovers the nefarious murder that the two lovers have executed. The group offered here includes two of the best cards of the set. The cards overall show slight edge wear, pinholes, faint smudges, and a couple of corner bends. One of the cards has a couple of surface scuffs and another card has scattered flaws in the paper from the production process.
