Description

She (RKO, 1935). Half Sheet (22" x 28"). RKO borrowed Randolph Scott from Paramount and cast him as Leo Vincey, an explorer who's searching for the "flame of life," a radioactive element hidden in Arctic Manchuria that is supposed to bestow eternal life. Along on the journey is a scientist played by Nigel Bruce, pre-Dr. Watson, and Helen Mack. Together the trio discover a volcanic cave where they are taken into custody by Billali, Prime Minister of Kor, who brings them before the almighty ruler, She, Hash-A-Mo-Tep (She, Who Must be Obeyed), played by Helen Gahagan. This poster has tears, stains, surface creases, pinholes, smudges, border bumps, and chips and is a perfect candidate for paper backing. This half sheet features a seductive image of Gahagan set against the backdrop of the natives' sacrificial "Holy Well." Very Good/Fine.
