Description
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Warner Brothers, 2004). Very Fine+. Lenticular One Sheet (25.5" X 40").Harry Potter's long suffering godfather Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) is depicted on this amazing one sheet prototype that was never issued by Warners. In a brilliant marketing ploy, Warner's created this poster to mimic the "Wanted" posters used in the movie itself. What was exciting about those, is that you could see Sirius laughing with insanity on the poster and Warners' tried to duplicate a motion effect here. As one moves back and forth before this poster, the image of Black actually begins to disappear. After creating six of these full-size prototypes at a facility in Michigan, Warners decided that it was too expensive to put them into full production and so the project was dropped. This is not the small size lenticular produced for the lobby standees. If you're a fan of the Harry Potter series, then this is the poster to obtain for your collection and probably the most rare of all the lenticular posters produced. The poster only shows a few very minor surface scratches and small surface indentations. Very Fine+.
