    Description

Josephine Baker in La Revue des Folies Bergère: La Folie de Jour (1927). Fine/Very Fine. 4th Souvenir Program (44 Pages, 9.5" X 12"). Exploitation.
Offered is a program from the famous Folies Bergère cabaret, showcasing the ensemble of acts from their 1926 - 1927 revue. Most notable among the lavish sets and costumes are shots of dancer Josephine Baker at her most popular, including the iconic photos of her scantily clad in her banana skirt, feather and flower costumes, as well as her doing the Charleston. An unrestored program that displays signs of use. May include edge or fold wear, mild fold separations, creases, small tears, very minor paper lifts, smudges, or unobtrusive stains. Most of this wear is on the covers, although a few of the interior pages are separated from the staples. Fine/Very Fine.
