Description

Titanic (20th Century Fox, 1953). Six Sheet (81" X 81").
"All passengers go to their cabins and put on lifejackets. There is no cause for alarm!" And yet there was cause for alarm, as Clifton Webb and Barbara Stanwyck soon find out. Stanwyck is running away from her marriage to Webb, and books passage on the ill-fated Titanic. Webb follows and, of course, gets on the boat at the very last moment. Their petty arguments soon pale, however, when the most famous disaster of the 20th century occurs with the sound of ice tearing through the hull. This wonderful six sheet has had professional restoration to fold wear, a small hole in the white background, and pinholes. There is a splice to repair a chip in the top border which is still apparent and smudges in the borders, and stains in the top left corner. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
