Translated "Hiroshima, My Love", this film revolves around a beautiful French actress, who is doing a location-shoot in the town of Hiroshima, and the sensitive, intelligent Japanese architect she has a brief sexual encounter with. From here the plot develops into an extended exploration of the couple's relationship as they come to terms with the past and the present. This poster has separation at two fold line intersections and slight toning, otherwise it's in wonderful condition. Alain Resnais's multi-award-winning film was on the cutting edge of the early 1960s film making revolution. Very Fine.
