Description

Hamlet (GFD, 1949). Full-Bleed British Quad (29" X 39").
Laurence Olivier became the first person to direct himself to a Best Actor Oscar in this stripped-down version of Shakespeare's famous tragedy. This was also the first non-American film to win Best Picture. This British quad had touchup to the dark background, the lettering, pinholes in the corners, small paper loss in the top vertical fold, and chips along the horizontal fold and in the crossfolds (in Olivier's face and hair). It displays very well, with marvelous artwork of Olivier. Fine+ on Linen.
