    Description

    A Soldier's Oath (Fox, R-1918). Folded, Fine+. One Sheet (27.5" X 41").
    A film about thievery, wrongful imprisonment, and murder, this silent drama starred William Farnum as a kindhearted father framed for the murder of a wealthy friend's wife. Farnum made his film debut in the 1914 Western The Spoilers, the same year his brother, Dustin, would star in Cecil B. DeMille's The Squaw Man. After signing with Fox, Farnum would take on lead roles in popular films such as If I Were King, Les Misérables, and A Tale of Two Cities. A rare item, this lovely stone litho poster shows mild edge wear, minor fold wear and separation, very small tears, and light creases. There is staining primarily in the borders that extends into the center horizontal fold, and the poster has some soiling on the verso that slightly bleeds through in the lower right edges. However, this affects little of the image, which remains mostly clean with good colors. Folded, Fine+.
