A Princess of the Dark (Triangle, 1917). One Sheet (27" X 41").Enid Bennett, in one of her earliest roles for producer Thomas Ince, stars as a poor blind girl whose only friend is a disfigured boy played by a very young John Gilbert, in one of his first starring roles. The young girl's daydreams of her prince are shattered when she regains her sight, leading to tragedy. This gorgeous early stone litho poster is in excellent condition, showing only fold wear, and crossfold separations with archival tape on the reverse. This is a truly special item from Gilbert's early career, shortly before he became one of the silver screen's biggest idols. Fine/Very Fine.
