    A Farewell to Arms (Paramount, 1932). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style A.
    Gary Cooper and Helen Hayes star in the first romantic adaptation of Hemingway's WWI novel, telling the story of an ill-fated American soldier, a British nurse, and their volatile relationship. The scandalous plot even produced commotion in the censor's office, which forced omission of details of Catherine's childbirth from the original script. Offered only once before seventeen years ago, this dark and moody piece of stone lithography has had light touchup applied at the folds, a small crossfold chip below the title, pinholes towards the borders, and a thin tear into the right background. The borders have been intermittently airbrushed, but the interior of this gorgeous poster is in excellent condition. Very Fine- on Linen.
