    The Jewel Thieves Outwitted (Hepworth, 1913). Fine/Very Fine on Linen. British One Sheet (30.5" X 40.25").
    Prolific doesn't begin to describe British director Frank Wilson, who made 270+ silent films from 1907 to 1922. Here, he directs Jack Hulcup and Violet Hopson in this thrilling short, featuring a highflying chase scene between an automobile and an airplane. Although backed on linen, no touchup has been applied and the stone litho poster still shows mild edge and fold wear, corner bends, small teas and nicks, as well as thin dust shadows. There is faint staining and light toning in a couple of the folds, in addition to unobtrusive stains in the borders. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
