    Description

G-Men (Warner Brothers, 1935). Window Card (14" X 22"). When the Production Code came down hard on the studios in 1934, Warner Brothers decided to reinvent the Gangster film, the genre it created. Now the emphasis would be on the lawman. The result was films like "G-Men" (1935), starring their former number one gangster, James Cagney, as a crusading officer with the Department of Justice. This window card has a scuff to the right of Cagney's credit that extends up through the title into the image area. There is light wear on a vertical fold up through the middle of the poster, and light edge soiling. The poster has been rebacked and the upper imprint area and borders have been airbrushed, and some touch up has been done on the fold. Very Fine- on Card Stock.
