The Three Stooges in Booby Dupes (Columbia, 1945). Very Fine-. Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
It's hilarity on the high seas for the Three Stooges in this comedy short, their second two-reeler of 1945. Larry, Curly and Moe buy a boat and embark on a career as fishermen. But the boat sinks and they are stranded on a dingy. To attract the attention of possible rescuers, they raise a white flag splattered in red paint that looks a lot like the Japanese flag ... not a good idea while stranded at sea during WWII. There are pinholes in the borders (with one into the interior), creasing on the corners, which goes into the top border on the right side, and a very light stain on the bottom border. Small tape stains on the corners on the verso do not show through.
