The Social Secretary (Triangle, 1916). One Sheet (28" X 41").
The gorgeous Norma Talmadge stars under one of Hollywood's best romantic comedy directors, John Emerson, in this story of a secretary who dowdies herself up to stay the advances of several lecherous employers. However, she appears as lovely as ever in this stone litho one sheet, the first that Heritage has ever had the opportunity to sell. Although the poster has been backed on linen, there have been no further restoration efforts, showing edge and fold wear, fold separations, pinholes in the borders, a few small paper lifts, and mild creases with extra vertical folds. There are also chips and tears in the borders and folds, with smudging and staining towards the bottom. The poster also shows some color fading and is beginning to detach from the masa paper along the folds. The linen has been trimmed up to the borders, but not into the poster. Very Good/Fine on Linen.
