    The Man Who Came to Dinner by Bert Six and Others Lot (Warner Brothers, 1942). Portrait and Scene Photos (24) (7.5" X 9" - 10.5" X 13.25"). Comedy.
    Vintage, double and single weight, glossy and matte finish photos. There are two photos from this title with the photographer stamps of Bert Six on the verso of both, and a studio snipe on one. Starring Bette Davis, Ann Sheridan, Monty Woolley, Richard Travis, Jimmy Durante, Billie Burke, Reginald Gardiner, Elisabeth Fraser, George Barbier, Mary Wickes. Directed by William Keighley. This lot also includes a nice group of vintage photos. There are six photos from various Tex Ritter films from the late 1930s and early 1940s, a 1937 portrait of Patsy Kelly, five photos from Old Acquaintance (1943) starring Bette Davis. These five have all been trimmed of the borders to the edge of the images. There is also a trimmed, doubleweight, matte finish photo by Orlando of Jack Lemmon being directed by Billy Wilder in The Fortune Cookie (1966). Unrestored photos with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. They may have edge wear, trimmed borders, small surface marks and blemishes, and small creases.
