    Description

The Girl Can't Help It (20th Century Fox, 1956). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Perhaps the greatest combination of old-style musical and rock 'n' roll to come out of Hollywood, "The Girl Can't Help It," directed by Frank Tashlin, gave Jayne Mansfield her best moments on film. She plays Jerri Jordan, girlfriend to gangster "Fatso" Murdock (Edmond O'Brien). Murdock wants to make her a star (even though she has no talent), so he hires publicity flak Tom Miller (Tom Ewell) to build her up. The trouble is, Tom and Jerri start to fall for each other. From the infamous milk bottle scene to Julie London's dream sequence and the performances of many rock stars of the day, this film is full of humor and great music. This one sheet has pinholes with tears, light fold wear with a cross fold separation, and some color transfer on the fold line. Fine/Very Fine.
