    Description

The Fearless Vampire Killers (MGM, 1967). International One Sheet (27" X 41") Frank Frazetta Artwork.
This is one the best (and hardest to find!) examples of artwork by fan favorite Frank Frazetta. He completely captures the fresh starlet quality the lovely ill fated Sharon Tate possessed. And Frazetta would have his fun, even emblazoning F F on the side of the coffin in an unusual signature. Of significant interest is the difference between this poster and the U.S. style B one sheet. This one is labeled and indeed intended, for the foreign market. This foreign version drops executive producer, Martin Ransohoff, completely from the top tagline, opting instead for simply saying "Metro Goldwyn Mayer presents Roman Polanski's..," owing to the fact that Polanski was widely known in Europe, while New Orleans born Ransohoff was not. It's ironic, because of Ransohoff's intense involvement in Tate's career, even to insisting that Polanski cast Tate rather than Jill St. John in the role. Partial touchup has been applied to the folds with small crossfold chips, edge wear with small tears, creasing, and pinholes in the interior. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
