The Big Store (MGM, 1941). Insert (14" X 36").
No one captured the wonderfully wacky spirit of the Marx Brothers better than famed caricaturist Al Hirschfeld. Here is a scarce insert, one of their most colorful posters, for the last film the Marx Brothers did for MGM. The poster sports a beautiful photo inset of a young Tony Martin and lovely Virginia Grey. That's Ziegfeld/Broadway star Marion Martin reclining on the bottom. An excellent find for Marx Brothers fans. The borders have been replaced slightly into the background in some areas, and there was a chip in the center fold. Touchup has been applied to the folds. Fine- on Paper.
