    Description

    The Bank Dick (Universal, 1940). One Sheet (27" X 41"). Comedic genius W.C. Fields stars as Egbert Souse, in this unadulterated classic, as a man who supports his family by winning radio contests. Souse just happens to be sitting on a park bench where a fleeing bank robber trips and is knocked cold. Proclaimed a hero, Souse is offered a job as a security guard of the bank. The fun starts when Souse gets involved in a shady stock deal that involves "borrowing" funds from the bank. There is light fold line wear, small tears, and pinholes. The poster has been restored in a minimalist fashion, and displays very well. This one sheet is scarce and highly coveted by collectors for its wonderful color caricatures. Fine+ on Muslin.
