This fun pre-Code Paramount comedy centers around a beauty pageant winner (Esther Ralston) who is being pursued by two cosmetic companies vying for her endorsement. A real pageant winner, Miss America 1925, Fay Lanphier is given a small role, but it is the extremely popular and iconic star Louise Brooks, in only her second screen appearance, who makes this film really worth seeing. Offered here is a very rare and gorgeous card featuring Miss Brooks in her signature bobbed hairstyle and revealing dress. Cards showcasing Brooks are some of the scarcest in the hobby, and this colorful beauty is in excellent condition with only two small tears at the top edge, and staple hole at the top left corner, with a piece of archival tape on the reverse. Nobody defined a decade like Brooks did - with wit, style, and a personality everyone finds mesmerizing. Do not miss out on this very special item. Very Fine-.
