    Description

    Red Headed Woman (MGM, 1932). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style C.
Jean Harlow plays the "vicious bad girl" to perfection in this very racy pre-Code hardcore drama. She's a classy gold digger from the wrong side of the tracks who sets out to break up a millionaire son's marriage and make it to the big time in high society. She wins her man but falls flat on her face with the upper crust. But nothing stops this redheaded vixen as she sets her sights on yet another well-to-do man. What's incredibly audacious is her character never pays the price of her wicked ways as in later Code-approved films. The one sheet for Red Headed Woman features one of the most outstanding examples of movie poster art ever produced. Harlow's face glows out of the red background in astoundingly vivid stone litho color making her appear to be demonic, which her character lives up to! This poster rarely appears at auction and this beautiful condition example and fresh copy to the market is only the third copy known. Prior to restoration, there were some small chips in the right border and there has been some very minor touchup in the background and one tiny spot on Harlow's forehead. Don't miss your chance to own this spectacular rarity! Very Fine- on Linen.
