Description

Jimmy the Gent (Warner Brothers, 1934). Window Card (14" X 22"). James Cagney brought his usual snappy patter to a new high in this rapid-paced comedy from Warner Bros. Action director Michael Curtiz had his hands full as Cagney and Bette Davis traded barbs in this tale of an unscrupulous investigator (Cagney) who tries to win back his girl by trying to appear classy. A major portion of the white area on this window card were airbrushed. There has also been restoration to the "J" in Jimmy and to a small hole in the back of Cagney's head and chin. There has also been color touchup to the second "E" in Bette and the window card has been rebacked with acid free buffer on board. Although this window card has a bit of work, it is very difficult to see and the poster has nice eye appeal. Fine+ on Board.
