    Description

Horse Feathers (Paramount, 1932). Window Card (14" X 22"). This was the fourth film for the Marx Brothers and the story revolves around, among other things, college football and a game between the fictional Darwin and Huxley Colleges. This great window card has a 2" tear in the lower center of the bottom border and one next to the right corner. There is a small piece missing form the lower right corner as well. There is a puncture mark in the "a" of Marx, and a tear next to Groucho's head which extends from the border into his temple. There is also a bend which is not evident, but which runs horizontally from the left border through Groucho's chin and below the "a" in Feathers. Finally, there is a small chip from the upper right corner. Three pieces of white archival linen tape have been put on the reverse to support fragile areas in the card. This description not withstanding, the card is actually in quite nice condition and displays very well. Fine-.
