    Description

Her Wedding Night (Paramount, 1930). Full-Bleed Linen Finish One Sheet (27" X 41").
The original "It" girl and one of Paramount's top silent stars, Clara Bow, was among the lucky few actresses that made a successful transition to talkies, remaining a major draw at the box office. Unfortunately, she retired just a few short years later in 1933, citing her delicate health and nervous disposition. This delightful little gem, in which she and co-star Ralph Forbes accidentally get married while in the French Riviera, is one of a handful of those pictures she made in the '30s. Based off of Avery Hopwood's play Little Miss Bluebeard, the film serves as a self parody of Bow, as she portrays a major actress attempting to hide out from the glamour of stardom. Very rare, this unfolded, glossy, linen finish poster shows slight edge wear, light creases, pinholes, and surface scuffs. There are a few tears at the top and bottom with paper tape on the verso, which have some light touchup. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
