A first time offer at Heritage, this one sheet also represents another first that altered the world of Hollywood comedy forever: Bob Hope's screen debut. Much like his future co-star, Bing Crosby, Hope got his start in an Educational Pictures short comedy, though he would soon move on to the likes of Universal Studios and Warner Bros. in his second and third films. This gave an instant boost to his career, turning the vaudevillian and Broadway actor into one of the biggest comedic personalities in movies, television, and on the radio. Certainly a rare and highly desirable piece for both its history and colorful image, this one sheet has had professional touchup to slight fold wear and separations, pinholes, small tears, and a few creases at the bottom. These minor issues do nothing to affect the poster's presentation, a piece all classic and comedy collectors should have at the top of their lists.
