    Description

Dinner at Eight (MGM, 1933). Half Sheet (22" X 28"). Director George Cukor ("Philadelphia Story" 1940) leads one of the finest ensemble film acting troupes ever assembled. Though she made one more film before her death, this is long remembered as Marie Dressler's finest moment. The borders on this alternate style half sheet were trimmed. Originally there was a tear and a missing corner on the lower right. There were other relatively minor creases and tears, but all problems were corrected with near perfect restoration. The poster, as any piece from this film, is incredibly rare. Very Good+ on Paper.
