    Vintage gelatin silver, color, single weight, glossy photos from a variety of comedic films from the 1940s-1950s. Starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, Tom Brown, Joan Fulton, Nat Pendleton, Beverly Simmons, Don Porter, Donald MacBride, Don Beddoe, Charles Trowbridge, Russell Hicks, and Milburn Stone. Directed by Charles Barton. Included in this lot are photos from such films as The Heavenly Body (1944), The Time of Their Lives (1946), Kitty, (1944), Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Easy to Wed (1946), Princess and the Pirate (1944), Miss Susie Slagle's (1945), Tender Comrade (1943), Our Hearts Were Growing Up (1945), It's in the Bag (1944), Bowery to Bagdad (1954), Follow that Woman (1945), Lost Honeymoon (1947), Casanova Brown (1944), a photo of Shirley Temple, and portraits of Bebe Daniels, Joan Caulfield, and Maurice Cavalier, just to name a few. Unrestored photos with an overall presentable appearance. They may have edge wear, creases, tears, toning, some staining, paper lifts, pinholes, surface scuffs, and surface checking. Many photos have attached studio snipes on the verso as well as the studio and photographer credit ink stamps from such photographers as Rod Tolmie.
