Bringing Up Baby (RKO, 1938). Spanish One Sheet (25" X 34.75").Considered by many to be one of the best screwball comedies, with its frantic pace, absurd antics, and zany pratfalls was director Howard Hawks at his best. This was the second of four films co-starring Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant, the others being Holiday, The Philadelphia Story, and Sylvia Scarlett. Original posters for this classic comedy have always been hard to come by, since surprisingly, it was not a hit when first released in 1938. Boasting beautiful renderings of Hepburn and Grant in bold, bright color, along with a cartoon drawing similar to the U.S. one sheet, this Spanish poster is a rare find. Fresh and display-ready, only touchup to pinholes in the borders was needed. Very Fine+ on Linen.
