Description

The Hick Chick (MGM, 1946). Tex Avery One Sheet (27" X 41").
Legendary animation director Tex Avery brought all of his incredible talent to this cartoon about a barnyard romance between a hen and her two suitors, a city rooster and a country rooster. Avery was known for his irreverent humor and slapstick style and his cartoons have withstood the test of time to remain among the most popular ever made. The posters for his cartoons are as collectible as the shorts made by the Disney studios, but are often more scarce. This one sheet is a first time offer from Heritage, and it displays wonderfully after touchup to small paper loss along the horizontal folds, and a chip in the top left corner. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
