Mickey's Birthday Party (RKO, 1942). One Sheet (27.5" X 41").
The joy of Walt Disney's animated Mickey Mouse short, Mickey's Birthday Party, is perfectly captured with this colorful one sheet, offered by Heritage for the first time. A surprise birthday party is planned by Minnie Mouse and friends, who task Goofy with baking a cake. After several failed and hilarious attempts, he decides to purchase a cake instead. But, in true Goofy fashion, the clumsy oaf accidentally lands the cake on Mickey while bringing it out. Not to be missed, this very rare one sheet shows some pinholes and smudging in the borders, and minor toning along the left edge. A tear in the lower left corner has been restored, and touchup has been applied to the folds. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
